If you need to contact a student, there are multiple ways you can reach her or him. In an emergency situation, please call Ohio State's emergency risk manager at 614-292-6677.
Additionally, each student will have a working phone after the first day in Kigali, meaning that they will be able to provide you with their phone number. You can call this number by first dialing the US exit code (011), then dialing Rwanda's country code (250) followed by the phone number (likely 9 digits).
Email is also possible, as we will have access to the Internet. Please keep in mind, however, that there are sometimes power outages that make the Internet temporarily unavailable. The Resident Director (Dr. Hollie Nyseth Brehm) can be reached by email at brehm.84@osu.edu.
